1. Face SDK
The Face SDK of BioPass ID allows you to quickly create an excellent face capture experience in your multiplatform applications. It provides a component for capturing imagens smoothly and efficiently, using advanced camera technologies and image processing algorithms.
Key Features
- Face Detection
- We ensure that there will be only one face in the capture.
- Face Positioning
- Ensure face position in your capture for better enroll and match.
- Auto Capture
- When a face is detected, the capture will be performed in how many seconds you configure.
- Resolution Control
- Configure the image size considering the tradeoff between image quality and API's response time.
- Aspect Ratio Control.
- Fully Customizable Interface.
2. Face Verification
Face Verification performed by BioPass ID involves the comparison procedure regarding captured and provided faces, in which after the current face registration, verification/comparison is performed through the face already registered in the company's system.
This verification operation can be useful in various situations where security and precise identification are necessary. Here are some examples:
- Delivery of Training Materials or Equipment;
- Restricted Area Access Control;
- Authentication on Devices and Applications;
- Identity Verification.
These are just a few examples of the many situations where the application of face verification using BioPass ID can be beneficial.
3. Face Liveness 2D
BioPass ID Face Liveness 2D is a secure and easy-to-use passive life proof technology. While other products add extra steps and time to the life proof journey, BioPass ID Face Liveness 2D is imperceptible to the end user, who doesn't even know their photograph was analyzed by the technology.
These are the following quality criteria:
- Blurr: The image must not be blurred;
- Brightness: The image must have an appropriate level of brightness;
- Face visibility: The individual's face must be completely visible in the image.
4. Face Crop
Face Crop from the BioPass ID Quality package is a tool that adjusts the image of a photo to meet the specific size and position requirements of the face within the image, as defined by the ICAO standard. This functionality is designed to ensure that photos are accepted and processed consistently and uniformly.
Face image crop application follows the ISO/IEC 19794-5 (ICAO) requirements. It considers the individual's eye coordinates and face geometry in order to perform the crop operation.
5. Facial Compliance Verification
Facial Compliance Verification verifies the compliance of a facial photograph with the ICAO standard (ISO 19794-5).
Following the checks and processes below:
1 — High-precision eye center location;
2 — Blurry photograph;
3 — Individual averting gaze;
4 — Photograph with ink mark or crease;
5 — Individual with unnatural skin tone;
6 — Very dark photograph;
7 — Faded photograph;
8 — Pixelation effect in photograph;
9 — Individual with hair over eyes;
10 — Individual with closed eyes;
11 — Photograph with non-uniform background;
12 — Individual's face with rotations beyond established limits;
13 — Individual with flash reflection on skin;
14 — Individual with red eyes;
15 — Individual with shadows behind the head;
16 — Individual with shadows on the face;
17 — Individual with dark-lens glasses;
18 — Individual with flash reflection on lens glasses;
19 — Individual with glasses with very thick frames;
20 — Individual with glasses where frame covers the eyes;
21 — Individual with hat or cap;
22 — Individual with veil over the face;
23 — Individual with open mouth;
24 — Photograph with presence of other faces or toys very close to the main individual's face.
In addition to these requirements, the operation evaluates the individual's face positioning in the image as well. The result is returned in a code format according to each assessed situation.
6. Face Anonymization
Face anonymization aims to hide or mask identifiable facial features in images. This is done with the goal of protecting individuals' privacy and preventing the misuse of biometric data.
The result is an image where facial features are sufficiently masked so that the person cannot be easily recognized, but still allows the use of biometric data for recognition or identity verification purposes.
7. Background Remover
Background Remover from BioPass ID removes the background from the image and keeps only the subject's face in the photo. It uses computer vision techniques and machine learning to identify the face in the image and separate it from the background.
The Background Remover depends on various factors, including the quality of the input image, the position and expression of the face, and the characteristics of the background.
For best results, it is recommended that the photographed individual be in a location with a uniform background.
8. Face Detect
Face Detection is a computational process that allows identifying and locating faces in an image. It’s a technology widely used in applications such as security, advertising, entertainment, among others.
The operation is performed by algorithms that use image processing techniques and machine learning to detect unique facial features, such as shape, position of the eyes, mouth, nose, and facial proportions.
The result is a graphical representation of the detected face or a marking around it, which can be used for various purposes, such as facial recognition.
